The Artists in Residency Program is a platform for building dialogue and creating dynamic networks across diverse art communities. This program provides opportunities for emerging and established artists, cultural practitioners and researchers to conduct artistic and cultural research and production in Lebanon. Ashkal Alwan hosts residents in Beirut and works with a regional network to also send artists from Lebanon abroad.

Accented Residency
Accented Residency is an initiative between Ashkal Alwan, Townhouse Gallery (Cairo), Platform Garanti (Istanbul), Vector Association (Iasi, Romania), Delphina Foundation (London), and Spike Island Artspace (Bristol)
Through Accented Residency, the Beirut residents include Ashkan Sepahvand and Burak Deller.
Writer Lina Mounzer was a resident at Vector Association.

The Edgware Road Project
The Edgware Road Project is a collaboration between Ashkal Alwan, Townhouse Gallery (Cairo) and the Serpentine Gallery (London).
Resident artists in London include Rania Stephan and Marwan Rechmaoui.
Tokyo Wonder Site
Tokyo Wonder Site (Tokyo) and Ashkal Alwan are partner institutions sending artists from Japan and Lebanon for residency in the respective institutions.
Resident artists in Tokyo include Ali Kays and Vartan Avakian.
